| Drinking water project at Mysore |
| As part of the community service and its endevour in serving the educational institutions, Arka foundation has successfully implemented a Drinking water project for students at school. This project helps in providing adequate drinking water for all students and also water for cleaning purpose. This project helps in maintaining hygiene in the school environment. |

Project details The capacity of existing Drinking Water Tank is only 500 litres and not enough to cater for supply of drinking water to 600 students presently studying in the school. So Arka Foundation, Mysore has taken up this project to supply sufficient drinking water to the school children for their mid-day meals, wash room etc by installing three water tanks (500 litres each). The project also included the repair of existing cement tank for storage of water and other sanitary & civil work. Inaugurated by Mr. & Mrs. Dinesh Lad and Beerihundi village leaders on 26th March 2010. Location Government High School, Beeridhundi, Bogadi Gaddige Road, Mysore-570026 Karnataka, India |
